Special Education - North provides individualized educational and social services to students identified with a disability. Our experienced special education staff works with different disabilities (i.e. speech impairment, learning disability, emotional disturbances, physical therapy, psychological counseling, other health impairment, autism, hearing impaired, vision impaired and developmentally delayed students). Each special education student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) geared specifically for that student. Educational services take place in the least restricted environment.

Fort Lee Partnership and Resources for Military Families
North Elementary school has forged a partnership with a platoon stationed at Fort Lee through the Partnership in Education Program (PIE). This program is a joint project to help foster education excellence and support local schools. As part of the program, soldiers visit to school to read with the children and supports our school at various events throughout the year.
